It will have 858 apartments, 5 restaurants, spa, shopping center and space for events. The estimated investment is R$ 1 billion. The Hard Rock Hotel Gramado will be built in an area of 143,000 m².

"Our contract is for a license to use the brand and hotel management. We still do not have a casino permit in Brazil and, therefore, we have not negotiated it in the contract, but the hotel was designed to be an integrated resort and has space, structure and capacity. In addition, the brand is among the largest in the world in casinos," José Roberto Nunes told Giane Guerra's column in Gazeta Zero Hora.

Last month, the global CEO of Hard Rock Café, Jim Allen, visited the Minister of Tourism, Celso Sabino, and talked about the interest in setting up casinos in Brazil.

Sabino said at the time that, if Congress releases the casinos, Jim Allen wants to install other units in Brazil administered by the headquarters itself. "The project of integrated resorts with casinos will undoubtedly generate even greater interest among the large chains," he said.

The general director of Hark Rock also visited the governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas. In a closed-door meeting, they discussed the possibility of installing a hotel chain in São Paulo.

Allen said that the installation of the hotel in the capital of São Paulo "is imminent" and could be the largest hotel unit in Hard Rock in Latin America. The governor of São Paulo reportedly said that the size of the project would be "emblematic."
