Under Jackson’s tenure, Flutter amassed the most formidable brand portfolio in the modern betting industry with market leaders FanDuel (US), Sky Bet (UK), Paddy Power (UK and Ireland), Sisal and Snaitech (Italy), Adjarabet (Georgia) and Betnational (Brazil), among others.
The peak came in 2025 when Flutter achieved the status of the world’s most valuable publicly listed gambling company with a price of over $300 per share and market cap of between $36bn-$42bn.
Reflecting on his leadership tenure, Jackson said that it “has been such a privilege to lead Flutter’s transformation” into the multinational gambling monolith described above.
“Flutter is a fantastic business, with a portfolio of world-class brands, talented colleagues and genuine competitive advantages,” he added.
Taylor takes on Flutter’s big tasks
Jackson’s replacement, Taylor, is also a long-serving executive at the company, having served in executive roles at Paddy Power Betfair before joining Flutter’s group-level executive team in 2020 as President of Flutter International.
His forthcoming promotion to Group CEO is his second this year, having been made President and CEO of Flutter International in May 2026.
This followed the revelation that Amy Howe, long-time CEO of FanDuel, would be vacating the position at Flutter’s largest brand and one of the two biggest sportsbooks in the US alongside DraftKings.
As Flutter International CEO, and previously as its President between July 2020-May 2026, Taylor oversaw Flutter’s non-US assets in key markets such as the UK, Italy and Brazil,.
Jackson praised his successor’s “ability to grow businesses, build strong teams and deliver exceptional results”, stating that he has seen these capabilities “first hand” and has “great confidence” in the company’s future.
Taylor takes over a business under a lot of pressure, with its market cap having fallen from the lofty highs of 2025 while also finding itself competing in a new sector in the US prediction markets space and facing regulatory and financial pressures in international markets, like a new tax regime in the UK.
“I’m delighted to take on the role of Group Chief Executive Officer at such an important time for Flutter,” Taylor remarked. “Our priority will be to keep delivering for our colleagues, customers and shareholders, while building on the momentum we’ve created across the business.
“The opportunities ahead are significant – both those we see in the market today and those we will create ourselves in the future. I look forward to leading the business as we continue to innovate, grow and build on the strengths that make Flutter unique.”
