Lottery operators are a distinct buyer class in sports betting technology, with long procurement cycles and compliance requirements that reward suppliers already embedded in the sector. OpenBet agreed on 15 September 2026 to acquire OmniLogic, a Hungary-based sportsbook technology provider serving World Lottery Association members across EMEA.
Deal scope and strategic rationale
OpenBet has reached an agreement to acquire OmniLogic, a sportsbook technology provider whose platform supports omnichannel betting operations — spanning retail, online and mobile — for regulated lottery operators and World Lottery Association (WLA) members across EMEA. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to close later in 2026. Financial terms were not disclosed.
OmniLogic has supplied sportsbook technology to major regulated lottery operators and WLA members for over a decade, with capabilities spanning trading, risk management and back-office functionality.
The Gyor, Hungary-based team will join OpenBet on completion, bringing experience in developing and supporting sportsbook technology across retail and digital channels. The company also operates software testing and support services in the Philippines and project management functions in Cyprus.
The acquisition is the latest in a series of targeted buys by OpenBet since it completed a $450m management buyout from Endeavor Group Holdings in March 2025, under which it became independently owned by OB Global Holdings LLC.
Earlier acquisitions include Neccton, a responsible gambling and AML technology specialist, in June 2023. OpenBet says it now works with more than 20 WLA members globally.
OmniLogic’s role in the global lottery market
OmniLogic has supplied sportsbook technology to major regulated lottery operators and WLA members for more than a decade. Its platform powers omnichannel betting across retail, online, and mobile for operators across EMEA, with capabilities spanning trading, risk management, and back-office functionality.
The addition of OmniLogic’s established operator relationships is intended to deepen OpenBet’s coverage of complex, highly regulated lottery markets where long-term institutional partnerships are a prerequisite for winning contracts.
Nikos Konstakis, President at OpenBet, said:
‘OpenBet has built its leadership position by partnering with leading operators in the world’s most demanding regulated markets, and this acquisition is a natural extension of that strategy. It adds proven technology, specialist expertise and established customer partnerships that complement our existing capabilities and strengthen our global business.’
Konstakis added that lotteries remain the core focus of OpenBet’s growth strategy, and that OmniLogic’s long-standing customer partnerships and understanding of lottery operator requirements were central to the rationale.
OmniLogic co-founders on joining OpenBet
Vicente Torrejón and Dávid Márk Gábor, co-founders of OmniLogic, said:
‘Our focus has always been on providing our customers with reliable technology, deep expertise and long-term partnership. Joining OpenBet gives us the opportunity to build on that foundation as part of one of the world’s leading sportsbook businesses. For our customers, it brings the additional scale, capabilities and product portfolio of OpenBet, while maintaining the specialist knowledge and continuity they value today.’
