The development has already created thousands of construction jobs and will provide 1,000 permanent roles when operations begin, the partners said. In addition, Hard Rock Casino Tejon has committed to infrastructure improvements in the surrounding area at no cost to taxpayers, while investing long-term in education, community services, and economic development for the tribe.
“The opening of Hard Rock Casino Tejon is not only a celebration of our tribe’s heritage and resilience, but also a bold step forward in creating opportunity and prosperity for future generations," said Octavio Escobedo III, Chairman of the Tejon Tribe. "This project will bring thousands of jobs, fuel economic growth, and serve as a gathering place where culture, entertainment, and community come together."
Jim Allen, Chairman of Hard Rock International and CEO of Seminole Gaming, called the project a new chapter for the brand in California. “Hard Rock Casino Tejon will set a new standard for entertainment in the region, blending our world-class hospitality with the tribe’s inspiring vision for cultural and economic growth," he stated.
When complete, the casino will feature a 150,000-square-foot gaming floor with more than 2,000 slot machines, 50 live table games, and exclusive VIP rooms for blackjack and baccarat. The property will also highlight Hard Rock’s signature collection of music memorabilia.
Food and beverage options will include the Hard Rock Cafe, Deep Cut Steaks | Seafood, YOUYU Asian cuisine, and a Marketplace Food Hall featuring a mix of international and local flavors. A Rock Shop will offer exclusive Hard Rock merchandise.
Guests can join Unity by Hard Rock, the company’s global loyalty program, which provides members with rewards and VIP perks across participating Hard Rock properties worldwide.
